    Brief

    Hackney Council is seeking a qualified provider to deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services for children with speech, language, communication, or swallowing and eating needs. The successful provider will deliver direct therapeutic interventions aligned with children's Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), as well as indirect support through staff training and guidance for parents and carers. Services will be delivered across Young Hackney, Youth Justice Virtual School, mainstream schools, and early years settings. The provider will also supply Speech and Language Therapists to join the Hackney Experts at Hand team, supporting the Department for Education's initiative to build mainstream education settings' capacity to effectively support children and young people with SEND through expert health professional advice and guidance. Contract start: 1st April 2027. Initial term: 3 years with two optional 1-year extensions, totalling up to 5 years.
