    Brief

    This is a Planned Procurement Notice for the provision of UK-based light aircraft and pilot services to support the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team. The contract would run from 1st March 2027 to 28th February 2030, with operational seasons from March to October each year. Required services include: (1) One full-time pilot and light aircraft capable of delivering up to 130 flying hours annually to support parachute training and display operations; (2) Aircraft certified to meet Release-to-Service (RTS) requirements for military freefall parachute deployment as specified in the Compendium of Airborne Equipment Release Certificates (CAERC) and validated by the Joint Aerial Delivery Test and Evaluation Unit; (3) Fire and Crash Cover (FCC) provision for up to 90 hours per year (30 hours per season), including tender and support vehicles, crash equipment, consumables, and qualified FCC crews. Contractors must ensure all aircraft and facilities comply with ICAO and DSA02/DSA03 standards for light aircraft operations. This notice is published to gauge supplier interest only and does not constitute a commitment to issue a tender or award a contract.
