Research on High-Performing, Holistic and Inclusive Education Systems

The Department of Education and Youth is seeking a qualified research contractor to conduct a comprehensive literature review examining educational systems that successfully combine academic excellence with holistic student development. The review will identify key features of high-performing systems, with particular focus on: creating inclusive and equitable learning environments for students with wellbeing challenges and additional support needs; collaborative partnerships between schools and community services; and quality standards in teacher training and professional development. The contractor will compare international best practices with current Irish educational models to identify relative strengths and areas for improvement. This research will inform policy development and educational strategy in Ireland. Interested suppliers should have demonstrated expertise in educational research, systems analysis, and comparative education studies.
