    Brief

The Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) is seeking suppliers to provide, deliver, install, and commission an advanced imaging flow-cytometry system for automated analysis of marine plankton. This procurement supports the ACCLIMATISE project, an all-island initiative funded through the SEUPB PEACEPLUS scheme to develop integrated marine climate change monitoring tools for Ireland. The system must be capable of high-resolution imaging, optical triggering, and automated morphological analysis of phytoplankton and suspended particles in the Irish Sea. The selected supplier will work with AFBI's Fisheries and Aquatic Ecosystems Branch to deploy next-generation observational technology that monitors and quantifies changes in plankton communities and marine food webs. This is a complete solution procurement including supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning services. Detailed specifications are available and suppliers should review these requirements before submitting proposals.
