Neurodiversity Support Service for Adults: Pre and Post-Diagnostic Peer Support Pilot

This service provides accessible peer support for adults who believe they may have autism or ADHD, regardless of whether they have received a formal diagnosis. The service aims to improve wellbeing, resilience, and social inclusion for neurodiverse adults through high-quality peer support while reducing pressure on wider support systems. Key outcomes include reducing loneliness and social isolation, increasing self-confidence and emotional wellbeing, improving access to information and community resources, developing better coping strategies for daily living, enabling service users to influence local services, and promoting strengths-based approaches. The provider will deliver an easy-to-access support network that enables early intervention, helping neurodiverse individuals manage their needs and achieve greater independence.
