Police Vehicle Repair Services Framework

Lancashire Constabulary's Fleet Department is seeking to procure accident, collision, and mechanical repair services for police vehicles. The authority will establish a new framework agreement with 5-8 suppliers to provide a broad range of repairs and maintain vehicles over a 2-year period, with an option to extend for a further 2 years. The existing framework expires on 30 September 2027, with the new framework estimated to commence on 1 October 2027. The estimated total spend for the replacement framework is approximately £4 million. Suppliers must be located within a 60-mile radius of Lancashire Constabulary headquarters (PR4 5SB) via Google Maps to facilitate site visits, vehicle inspections, and face-to-face contract management while supporting carbon reduction and net zero targets. Suppliers outside this radius may subcontract with approved partners within the radius. All repairs must strictly comply with the latest vehicle manufacturer repair methods, technical bulletins, and approved procedures. Repair methods must not deviate from manufacturer-approved processes without written approval from Lancashire Constabulary. Technicians must hold ATA Accreditation or equivalent, manufacturer-specific training where available, and demonstrate evidence of ongoing continuing professional development and technical updates.
