    Brief

Maiden Erlegh Trust, comprising 10 schools across the Reading area with over 4,900 pupils, is seeking a partner to supply and implement a Mobile Device programme. The programme will deliver approximately 9,000 Chromebooks over five years to support teaching and learning across diverse school settings including secondary, primary, special educational needs, pupil referral and outreach provision. The successful partner will supply devices and provide comprehensive programme management, training, and technical expertise. Key requirements include: delivering circa 400 devices by 1st April 2027 (ideally 15-19 February 2027); supporting staff, primary and SEN devices that remain school-based with self-insurance arrangements; providing staff training and ongoing support; and collaborating closely with Trust leadership and stakeholders. The partner will work with a dedicated senior Trust contact throughout the five-year contract period. Suppliers will be provided with a standard contract template as part of the invitation to tender. This procurement focuses on primary and SEN devices; secondary provision will be arranged separately through parental contribution. A leasing procurement will be conducted separately in 2027.
