Additional responsibilities include needle and sharps removal, safe disposal of hazardous waste, and emergency response capability including out-of-hours call-outs. The provider must demonstrate compliance with all health and safety legislation, environmental regulations, and industry best practices for hazardous waste handling and disposal.
