Medway Council Road Safety Audit Framework

Medway Council, a unitary authority in Kent, manages approximately 840km of highways across Strood, Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, and Rainham. The Council is establishing a Road Safety Audit Framework (MCRSAF) to create a pre-qualified pool of contractors capable of delivering high-quality road safety audits for highway schemes and interventions. As an Overseeing Organisation, Medway Council will commission auditors from this framework to conduct safety assessments quickly, cost-effectively, and in compliance with GG119 of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges. The framework contract will run for two years from 1st November 2026, with options to extend for two additional one-year periods.
