Filton Festival 2027 - Event Management Contractor

Filton Town Council is seeking an experienced event management contractor to plan and deliver the Filton Festival 2027, with continuation through 2028 and 2029. This annual summer festival, held in Elm Park, celebrates the town's communities and heritage while attracting over 2,000 visitors. The 2027 festival will feature a Sci-Fi theme marking the 50-year anniversary of the first Star Wars film. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of festival production including programming, logistics, and operations - Ensure accessibility and inclusivity for diverse audiences within a 20-mile radius - Develop and maintain partnerships with local organisations - Implement health and safety compliance and event management best practices - Generate income to sustain or grow the festival scale while maintaining quality and safety - Manage alcohol strategy, crowd control, waste management, and environmental sustainability - Work collaboratively with Filton Town Council on programming and site management - Handle all event-associated costs and site reinstatement responsibilities - Incorporate public and stakeholder feedback into festival development The council welcomes innovative ideas that broaden community involvement, increase youth participation in planning and operations, promote local businesses and the aerospace industry, and enhance Filton's image as an attractive place to live and visit.
