Auditorium Seating Installation for Malvern Theatres Phase 2 Development

Malvern Theatres, a leading arts venue in the West Midlands serving 300,000 annual visitors, is undertaking Phase 2 of a major development project commencing January 2026. The project includes construction of a new Studio 2 theatre with retractable seating, a technical upgrade to the Forum Theatre with increased capacity and improved accessibility, and new creative learning and production spaces. We are seeking an experienced auditorium seating contractor to design and install bespoke seating systems for both Studio 2 (featuring innovative retractable seating in a recessed pocket) and the upgraded Forum Theatre (with re-raked base and enhanced DDA provisions). The successful contractor will work directly with the client and coordinate closely with the main Design & Build contractor during the construction phase to ensure proper integration of structural elements, including the Forum's new raked base and Studio 2's balcony specifications. This is a significant opportunity to contribute to a world-class cultural facility expansion that will enhance arts access and economic prosperity across the Malvern Hills district.
