Participatory Research and Facilitation Services for Water 2100 Think Tank

The Environment Agency is seeking a contractor to deliver a comprehensive participatory research program through March 2027. The contractor will facilitate structured engagement with the Water 2100 think tank membership, operating as an independent interface between the think tank and the Environment Agency. Key Responsibilities: • Design and deliver a tailored work programme including up to 6 face-to-face participatory sessions plus additional online sessions as needed • Select appropriate tools and methodologies in line with agreed approaches • Coordinate with trained Environment Agency facilitators to support session delivery • Guide the think tank in developing shared understanding of water-land systems and future scenarios • Help identify, analyze, and prioritize systemic challenges and their underlying causes • Liaise with the Water 2100 Programme Team to create materials and provide information support • Synthesize insights from think tank deliberations into interim and final outputs • Manage collaboration between the think tank, external experts, and commissioned academics • Lead authorship and provide editorial oversight of the final participatory research report for potential strategic use This is an ideal opportunity for organizations with expertise in participatory research, systems thinking, environmental policy, and facilitation of multi-stakeholder engagement.
