Ireland – Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles and Conversions 2026

The Irish Wheelchair Association, Ireland's leading organization serving people with physical disabilities (20,000 members, 2,500+ employees, 57 community centers), is seeking quotations for purchasing and converting vehicles to transport wheelchair users and people with mobility disabilities. This procurement is divided into 4 lots: Lot 1 – Supply of approximately 25-35 new 3.5-ton vehicles suitable for wheelchair accessible conversion; Lot 2 – Supply of approximately 5-7 new 5-ton vehicles suitable for wheelchair accessible conversion; Lot 3 – Conversion of 3.5-ton vehicles to wheelchair accessible standards (approximately 25-35 vehicles over contract lifecycle); Lot 4 – Conversion of 5-ton vehicles to wheelchair accessible standards (approximately 5-7 vehicles over contract lifecycle). Both manual and powered wheelchair accommodation is required. Suppliers may bid on individual lots or multiple lots. The quantities indicated are estimates and do not constitute a binding commitment.
