Brief

The British Film Institute (BFI) is seeking a training provider to deliver the Empower leadership and management training programme for line managers. This procurement is conducted under the Light Touch Regime in accordance with PA2023. The successful bidder will develop and deliver a four-day in-person training programme at an externally recognised level (such as ILM Level 4), integrating BFI Culture Drivers and Line Management Principles. The programme will cover leadership and operational effectiveness, managing people and wellbeing, coaching and delegation skills, and team management and performance. Key deliverables include: facilitating three action learning squads per cohort over three out-of-classroom sessions, coordinating learner activities across a four-month period (4 days in-person training plus 0.5 days pre-course work and 3 one-hour action learning sets), and delivering to approximately 45 line managers across three cohorts per year. The initial contract runs for two years with two optional one-year extensions, creating a potential four-year engagement through 2030. Each cohort programme takes four months to complete, and bidders must confirm their ability to deliver within the specified timelines provided in the tender documentation. Consortiums and partnership bids from multiple providers are welcome if they ensure comprehensive programme delivery. To apply, register on the BFI tender portal at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/bfi/aspx/Tenders/Current and express your interest to access full tender documents.
