Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) is establishing a multi-provider framework agreement to deliver enhanced and advanced professional education and training to NHS Wales. The framework will offer: (1) Full master's pathways (180 credits) at level 7 leading to Advanced Practitioner qualification, available through blended and distance learning; (2) Individual modules at level 7 with flexible credit options; (3) A sole-provider lot for specialized enhanced maternity care (20 credits) at level 7. All programmes must align with the Professional Framework for Enhanced, Advanced and Consultant Clinical Practice in Wales (HEIW, 2023) and enable healthcare professionals to extend their practice within established professional standards.
