Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Review and Strategy Development

King's Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council is seeking specialist consultancy support for a comprehensive Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) review and strategy development project. This pre-market engagement exercise aims to identify qualified suppliers and understand their capabilities, delivery methods, timescales and costs before formal procurement. The project scope includes: auditing Council facilities (buildings, toilets, changing facilities and relevant spaces); reviewing internal policies, systems, procedures and practices; assessing resident-facing services and facilities; providing recommendations for improvements; developing an updated EDI Policy with supporting guidance; and creating an overarching EDI Strategy for the borough. The review is being undertaken to ensure compliance with the Equality Act 2010 and Public Sector Equality Duty requirements, reflect current best practice following recent Supreme Court judgments and updated EHRC guidance, and support a long-term strategic approach to equality across the borough. Interested consultants and organisations are invited to share their expertise, proposed approaches, indicative costs and timescales to help shape the future procurement specification.
