    Brief

The London Fire Brigade (LFB) is conducting a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) to identify specialist training venues capable of delivering smoke-filled environment (SFE) training for multi-agency personnel. This is a non-binding market engagement exercise to gather information about capability and refine future procurement requirements. The SFE training programme is a collaborative initiative between the London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) to provide weekly safety-critical training for police officers in simulated smoke-filled environments. The venue must be a secure, purpose-built facility with dedicated smoke rooms and specialized infrastructure designed for emergency response training. The facility should accommodate 15-25 trainees and provide accommodation and catering services. Training can be scheduled flexibly based on LFB and MPS availability. This engagement will help determine market capability, define detailed requirements, and establish the appropriate procurement strategy for future contracting.
