Terminal Security Operations Services - Doncaster Sheffield Airport

This opportunity seeks a qualified security services provider to deliver comprehensive security operations at Doncaster Sheffield Airport's terminal facility. The contractor will be responsible for managing all aspects of airport security including: supervisory oversight of security personnel; aviation security screening at passenger checkpoints with surveillance and foot patrols; incident response and emergency management; threat assessment and protective security measures; integration and maintenance of security technology systems; staff training programs; business continuity planning; customer-focused security interactions; and quality assurance reporting. Operations will run from 03:30 to 21:00 daily across two shifting passenger peaks (expanding to three peaks as airport capacity grows). Key operational areas include the Central Screening Area with access control, three passenger screening lanes with recheck stations, four security scanners, out-of-gauge X-ray equipment, hold baggage screening (2 lines), and foot patrols covering landside, airside terminal, and airside apron zones. The successful bidder must demonstrate expertise in complex aviation security operations, personnel management, and regulatory compliance within a dynamic airport environment.
