Cleaning Services Contract - Bournemouth University

Bournemouth University is seeking an experienced cleaning contractor to provide comprehensive cleaning and servicing of its entire estate on a 24/7, 365-days-a-year basis. This is a 10-year contract commencing 1 October 2026, with a 6-month break clause allowing the University to terminate early if needed. Key Requirements: • Maintain high cleanliness standards and excellent customer service across the university estate • Ensure safety, wellbeing, and disease prevention for students, staff, visitors, and affiliates • Minimise staff turnover and provide reliable absence cover to maintain service continuity • Implement environmentally and socially sustainable practices • Deploy technology-based cleaning solutions and adopt industry best practices • Deliver cost savings and value for money throughout the contract period • Act as an extension of the Estates team, reporting accidents, incidents, near misses, and maintenance defects This is a significant opportunity for a qualified contractor to manage a large-scale, long-term cleaning operation at a major UK university.
