Digital Forensic Software and Tools Framework Agreement

BlueLight Commercial is establishing a national Open Framework to supply Digital Forensic Software and Tools to UK policing and associated agencies. This framework is designed to help forces comply with the Forensic Science Regulator's Code of Practice (2025) by providing software and tools that support digital forensic processes, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. The framework covers all types of digital forensic software and tools but excludes case management systems. Suppliers do not need to be directly accredited themselves, but their products must enable end users to meet the Code of Practice requirements. The framework may be adjusted to reflect updates to regulatory standards. The estimated contract value (£[amount]) covers anticipated price increases, multi-year inflation, and usage by additional participating agencies, and represents a prudent upper limit rather than guaranteed spend. Eligible suppliers should demonstrate how their digital forensic solutions support compliance with current forensic science standards and regulatory obligations.
