Council Domestic Property Safety Inspection and Service Contract

Ashfield District Council is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive health and safety checks and servicing for domestic properties in its housing portfolio. The contractor will perform a range of essential safety inspections and maintenance services including: gas appliance health and safety checks and servicing; gas tightness testing and carcass pipework inspection; periodic electrical installation condition reporting; smoke and carbon monoxide detector checks and servicing; un-vented cylinder servicing and testing; heat interface unit servicing and testing; air source heat pump and warm air recovery servicing and testing; thermostatic mixing valve inspection; and remedial repairs identified during inspections that fall outside standard servicing scope. This is a single-contractor arrangement to deliver a dedicated domestic property health and safety check and service programme across the council's housing stock.
