Asbestos Removal and Refurbishment of Idlewells Indoor Market

Nottinghamshire County Council is managing this procurement on behalf of Ashfield District Council, who will be the contracting authority. This project involves asbestos remediation and comprehensive refurbishment of Idlewells Indoor Market to upgrade facilities, improve safety standards, and enhance the environment for traders and visitors. Key works include phased asbestos removal, drainage replacement, internal alterations including new toilet facilities and plant room upgrades, and hot water and heating system design modifications. The contractor will be responsible for design (where applicable), supply, and installation, ensuring the client meets all statutory and legislative requirements.
