    Brief

    Broads Internal Drainage Board is seeking a contractor to design and construct two pumping stations (Horse Fen and Somerton South) and one culvert (Somerton) in the Upper Thurne area. The project includes decommissioning of existing assets at each site. Design work covers telemetry systems, external lighting, functional specifications, sensors and monitoring equipment, stop log systems, non-return gates and valves, penstocks, flow meters, draw pits, precast concrete components (outfall structures, pump support slabs, kiosk bases), Motor Control Centre (MCC), electrical systems, control kiosks with HVAC, fire and intruder alarms, and temporary works including relevant licenses and permissions. The Water Management Alliance (WMA) is overseeing the procurement on behalf of the Broads Internal Drainage Board with support from Turner & Townsend as advisors.
