Cloud-Based Accounting and Finance Software Solution for Housing Co-operative

CDS Co-operatives, a charitable community benefit society established in 1975, is conducting a soft market testing exercise to procure a cloud-based accounting and finance software solution. The organisation seeks to modernise its financial management systems while retaining existing functionality and improving operational efficiency, automation, and financial controls. The solution must integrate seamlessly with Microsoft applications and operate independently without ongoing supplier support after implementation. Key requirements include support for alphanumeric analysis codes, consolidated and hierarchical reporting, standardised Chart of Accounts, data export to Excel and other formats, integration interfaces with BEACON and PLENTIFIC systems, period closure controls, future-dated transaction processing, multi-year nominal ledger access, drill-down reporting capabilities, standard financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow), multi-purchase order invoice matching, 30-character property reference fields, negative depreciation support, and licensing for 15 finance users and 40 business users. All proposed enhancements must be cost-effective, proportionate, and deliver cross-team collaboration and streamlined financial processes.
