Vehicle Recovery Services - West Mercia Police

West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner is seeking to contract vehicle recovery service providers across seven locations in the West Mercia area. Selected providers will be responsible for the recovery, secure storage, and disposal (at the Authority's discretion) of illegally parked, dangerously parked, obstructively parked, broken down, collision damaged, abandoned, and stolen motor vehicles. Providers will also handle vehicles seized by Police under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002, Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, Section 152 of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005, and the Hunting Act 2004. Services are typically provided at no cost to the Authority. The contract is divided into seven lots covering: Shrewsbury, Herefordshire, Telford and Wrekin, Kidderminster, Worcester, Redditch and Bromsgrove, and Great Malvern. Bidders may apply for one or multiple lots.
