Primary Medical Care for Patients with Challenging Behaviours - Bath, North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire

NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board is seeking a provider to deliver Special Allocation Service (SAS) Primary Medical Services. This service supports patients who have been removed from mainstream general practice due to unacceptable behaviours and provides them with safe, appropriate medical care. Key service responsibilities include: providing general medical services to SAS-registered patients; supporting rehabilitation to address underlying causes of violent or aggressive behaviour and facilitate return to general practice; delivering a multi-disciplinary, holistic approach ensuring safe and secure access to care across the region; and offering vaccinations, immunisations, contraception, maternity medical services (excluding labour care), cervical screening and minor surgery. The service must operate during core hours Monday to Friday, 08:00-18:30, excluding bank holidays, with telephone accessibility. This is a direct award contract to a single new provider.
