Junior Ranks Mess Refurbishment and Roof Waterproofing - Episkopi, Cyprus

This project involves comprehensive refurbishment of the Junior Ranks Mess (EP0035) at Episkopi, Cyprus, to enhance design and user appeal in line with Defence Catering Strategy. Work includes interior upgrades such as suspended ceiling replacement, furniture replacement and repositioning, re-cladding of station and drinks areas, wall and ceiling preparation and repainting, plaster repair, and minor internal modifications including partition work and door frame repairs. Building and civil works encompass removal and replacement of bituminous waterproofing membranes on flat roofs at north and south elevations, asbestos-flaking paint removal and redecoration, surface repairs to walls and slabs, and installation of new edge protection railings with concrete upstands and waterproofing. Electromechanical works include removal and reinstatement of kitchen extraction systems, replacement of roof-mounted hot and cold water services, and isolation, removal, and replacement of heating pipework with new installation from the plantroom. Asbestos-containing materials are present; all asbestos works must be performed by licensed contractors. Project value is in Euro (€).
