    Brief

The UK Space Agency (UKSA) is investing up to £7 million in regulatory sandboxes and innovative regulatory tools to support high-growth areas and complex space missions. This opportunity comprises two separate lots with a combined contract value of £1,000,000 (inclusive of VAT), each worth up to £500,000. Lot 1 focuses on developing a re-entry regulatory sandbox, and Lot 2 focuses on multi-mission licensing regulatory tools. Both sandboxes will be developed during financial year 2026/27. Suppliers may bid for one or both lots. Those bidding for both lots must demonstrate in their technical proposal that they have sufficient capacity to deliver both projects if successful. The tender notice is expected to be published in July. This follows the successful delivery of the Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO) regulatory sandbox.
