Ireland – Framework Agreement for Double-Deck Bus Supply

The Contracting Authority is seeking qualified suppliers to enter into framework agreements for the supply of double-deck buses across four distinct frameworks: a single-supplier framework and a multi-supplier framework for double-deck battery-electric two-axle buses; a single-supplier framework for double-deck battery-electric three-axle buses; and a single-supplier framework for double-deck regional buses. The procurement is anticipated to include up to 1,500 double-deck battery-electric two-axle buses, up to 200 double-deck battery-electric three-axle buses, and up to 100 double-deck regional buses. The Contracting Authority retains the flexibility to adjust quantities upward or downward and may choose not to issue any call-off orders under specific framework lots. Each framework agreement will operate for an initial 30-month period, with optional extensions of up to 66 additional months available at the Contracting Authority's discretion. Interested suppliers should be capable of manufacturing or supplying compliant double-deck buses to meet specifications for each framework category.
