Portable Flow Meter Supply and Verification Services

Yorkshire Water seeks a contractor to supply and manage portable flow metering equipment and associated verification services for water network operations across its service area. Key deliverables include supplying, installing, calibrating, and maintaining portable flow meters (both clamp-on and insertion types); conducting site surveys; performing meter verification and monitoring; managing equipment repairs and battery maintenance; and providing data collection, validation, and reporting services. The contractor will support accurate flow measurement, network monitoring, leakage detection, and regulatory compliance across Yorkshire Water's operational water assets. Services may involve working on live water mains, confined space operations, traffic management, and specialized installations such as saddle fittings. The successful contractor must provide qualified personnel, specialized equipment, and necessary resources to safely deliver services throughout Yorkshire Water's service region. Yorkshire Water intends to award contracts to up to two suppliers: a primary supplier for day-to-day delivery and a secondary supplier for additional capacity. The initial contract term is three years with an option to extend for a further two years (3+2).
