    Brief

The Natural History Museum seeks suppliers for archival storage containers and materials to support a major relocation and collection reorganization project. The Museum is moving over 26 million specimens and library/archive materials from four existing sites to a new science and digitisation centre at Thames Valley Science Park. This procurement covers multiple container types including lidded archival card boxes, archival card trays, lidded plastic boxes, plastic pallets, plastazote sheets, and acid-free tissue. All materials must meet archival standards to preserve the Museum's unique collection of over 80 million objects. The physical relocation is scheduled to commence in 2028, with preparation activities currently underway. Suppliers should have experience providing museum-grade storage solutions and be able to meet large-scale volume requirements for this significant collection transfer project.
