Financial Management System for Multi-Academy Trust

Tove Learning Trust (TLT) is conducting a preliminary market engagement exercise to identify modern, cloud-based financial software solutions for their growing network of academies. This is an information-gathering exercise only and does not constitute a formal tender. TLT seeks a resilient platform that streamlines financial operations across central and school-level teams while reducing administrative burden. Key requirements include: system stability with minimal downtime, fast performance and mobile compatibility, intuitive transaction drill-down and in-system analytics without data export, integrated purchasing portal with multi-level approvals and automated document dispatch, invoice OCR scanning with AI contract analysis, comprehensive accounting modules (cost centre reporting, trial balance, aged debtors/creditors, bank reconciliation, budgeting and forecasting), balanced purchase and sales ledger capabilities, integration with IMP budget planning software or embedded curriculum financial planning module, configurable security roles, and direct helpdesk access for school-based users. Interested suppliers must submit an expression of interest by 15 September 2026 to procurement@tovelearning.org.uk, with selected vendors invited to demonstrate solutions during September-October 2026. Estimated contract period: 01 April 2027 to 31 March 2030 or 01 September 2027 to 31 August 2030.
