Construction Framework Agreement for Train Depot and Station Infrastructure

Northern Trains Limited is establishing a Construction Framework Agreement to deliver infrastructure works across its Train Care Centres and stations. The framework consists of four specialist lots: (1) Internal Building Fit Outs covering fit-out, storage, waste, security, fire systems, and HVAC; (2) Access and Component Movement Solutions for access work and component handling; (3) Multi-discipline Railway Solutions for integrated major projects including civils, electrical, signalling, track work, and environmental services; and (4) Design & Build Specialist Train Servicing and Maintenance Solutions for servicing facilities and cleaning. The framework enables flexible, scalable delivery of works packages on a programme or project basis across geographically dispersed locations. Selected contractors must deliver high-quality, cost-efficient works while maintaining full compliance with health and safety legislation, railway standards, and operational requirements. Suppliers are expected to minimise disruption to live depot operations, maintain asset integrity, and contribute to continuous improvement.
