Dynamic Purchasing System for Alternative Education Services

Derby City Council is seeking applications from qualified organizations to join a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for providing Alternative Education services throughout the city. This DPS will be managed in part by the Respect Collaboration of Schools, which has a legal obligation to ensure that children of compulsory school age who are suspended or excluded from school receive appropriate education. The services offered must ensure that students can progress through their courses, regardless of the type of Alternative Provision or Key Stage. Where applicable, students should work towards qualifications recognized within the Qualifications and Curriculum Framework (QCF) or other industry-recognized accreditations that support post-16 education. There is no limit on the number of students that can be served under this agreement, and placements are expected to be purchased as needed. Applications to join the DPS will be accepted in multiple rounds, with Round Three closing on July 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Applicants will be notified of the outcome within one month of the deadline. It is important to note that this DPS is a modified version and does not fully comply with the Public Contract Regulations 2015, allowing for greater flexibility to meet the ongoing needs of the Respect Collaboration of Schools. Suppliers interested in participating must express their interest and obtain the necessary documentation for Round Three by 11:30 PM on July 30, 2025.
