Ambulance Procurement for Päijät-Häme Welfare Area

This contract involves the procurement of ambulances for the Emergency Medical Services of the Päijät-Häme welfare area. Currently, there are approximately 25 ambulances in use, with a lifespan of 5-6 years. The procurement plan includes acquiring about 16-20 new ambulances over the next four years as follows: 4-5 in 2025, 4-5 in 2026, 4-5 in 2027, and 4-5 in 2028. The ambulances must meet the mandatory requirements outlined in the tender request and the attached technical specifications. One service provider was selected based on the competition for a framework agreement. The contract is for a duration of four years, starting by November 1, 2025, with the first deliveries expected in late spring 2026. Financing for the vehicles is not included in this procurement. The buyer will determine the method of ordering ambulances during the contract period.
