Construction Work for Lecture Hall Renovation at University of West Bohemia

This public procurement contract involves the execution of construction work according to the project documentation. The main tasks include construction and assembly work, demolition, disassembly, and supply of materials necessary for the renovation of Lecture Hall UP 108 and other affected areas in the technical basement. Key improvements will focus on enhancing student seating comfort, implementing a new ventilation and cooling concept, and making adjustments to the heating system and connections for heating ventilation. This also includes modifications to the existing control system (TRONIC) connected to the central dispatch. Additionally, electrical installations (high voltage and low voltage) will be updated. The project will also cover interior furnishings, wall and surface modifications, including preparations for the installation of AV technology components. Furthermore, the project includes the dismantling of existing ventilation pipes containing asbestos in the seals between the pipe flanges, along with the environmentally safe disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with relevant health regulations. Prior to this phase, a preliminary phase was completed, focusing mainly on electrical installations (high voltage, fire alarm systems, security systems, CCTV, building management systems, data distribution) in the basement, allowing for the new installations in the lecture halls to connect to the already completed systems. The tender documentation includes project documentation for all phases (renovation of all 5 lecture halls), but this contract specifically pertains to the renovation of Lecture Hall UP 108, including the interior work as detailed in the work lists and measurement reports (construction + interior).
