Splash Park Refurbishment at Parsons Close

Leighton-Linslade Town Council is seeking a contractor to refurbish the Splash Park located in Parsons Close Recreation Ground, LU7 1AD. Interested suppliers should complete the attached pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) and provide a detailed quotation for the required works. The Town Council will shortlist providers based on these submissions. Successful candidates will be invited to present their proposals to Council Members on November 5, 2025, with a maximum of 15 minutes for a PowerPoint presentation followed by a 15-minute Q&A session. The deadline for submitting the PQQ and formal quotation is 9 AM on October 24, 2025. Key requirements for the refurbishment include: addressing the deteriorating surface of the existing area, improving the filtration system to reduce chemical usage and maintenance costs, providing estimated savings on chemicals, water, and electricity, revamping play features to enhance public enjoyment, ensuring accessibility for all users, and increasing the longevity and sustainability of the attraction. A preferred supplier will be recommended to the Full Council on November 24, 2025, and the successful provider will be notified thereafter.
