Therapeutic Short Breaks Service for Children with Complex Needs at Lyndhurst Children's Home

The Council is seeking to better utilize Lyndhurst Children's Home to provide therapeutic short breaks for children and young people with complex, multi-agency needs. This service will support vulnerable children at risk of placement breakdown, escalation to higher levels of care, or inappropriate hospital admission. The engagement aims to identify the best approaches and service delivery models to meet these children's needs effectively, potentially including staffing, clinical support, therapeutic interventions, and operational management. Suppliers should have experience in providing respite or short-break care for children with complex needs, including those with behavioral, emotional, health, or safeguarding requirements.
