Construction of Water Supply Infrastructure in Germany

The Verbandsgemeindewerke Nastätten is participating in the construction of a regional water reservoir in Oberbachheim, managed by the Verbandsgemeindewerke Loreley. This project aims to create an additional and backup water supply for the areas of Winterwerb, Oberbachheim, Gemmerich, Himmighofen, and Kasdorf. The project involves connecting the Gemmerich and Schaarheck reservoirs to the planned regional reservoir at Spitzenstein. A transport pipeline will be installed to connect the Spitzenstein reservoir to the Bogel reservoir, completing a gap in the previously laid sections of the transport pipeline. The current planning includes the installation of a water transport pipeline from the connection point southwest of the Spitzenstein reservoir (approximately 550 meters away) to the east of the Gemmerich reservoir (approximately 500 meters away), as well as control cables in a conduit parallel to the transport pipeline.
