Two Play Area Refurbishment Projects in Ingoldmells

Ingoldmells Parish Council is seeking qualified contractors to design, supply and install new play equipment and safety surfacing at two separate play areas in Lincolnshire. The project is split into two lots: Lot 1 at Glebe Park (estimated value £60,000 ex VAT) and Lot 2 at Chapel Road (estimated value £60,000 ex VAT). Contractors may bid for one or both lots. The new play areas must serve children from toddlers to age 14 with inclusive and accessible features. All equipment and surfacing must meet BS EN 1176 and BS EN 1177 standards. The Council prefers durable, low-maintenance materials and avoids timber equipment. Contractors must demonstrate relevant experience with at least three comparable projects, hold appropriate insurance, provide a construction programme, and ensure independent post-installation inspection before handover. All site management, waste disposal, reinstatement works and safety measures are the contractor's responsibility. Tender submissions must include detailed designs, safety surfacing proposals, evidence of qualifications, insurance details and project references.
