Environmental Protection Services in Germany

This contract involves the creation of management plans for Natura 2000 areas in Germany. Specifically, it requires the development of management plans for the FFH areas 0074 "Water System Annaburger Heide southeast of Jessen" and 0075 "Old Elster and Rohrborn Meadows near Premsendorf", focusing only on the civilian parts of these areas. Additionally, a joint management plan that considers the SPA (Special Protection Area) concerns for the overlapping parts with SPA 0023 "Bird Protection Area Annaburger Heide" must be developed and integrated into the plans. The services related to the bird protection area 0023 also pertain only to the civilian area (approximately 13% of the total SPA). A separate complete management plan for the SPA is required. When planning measures for the SPA areas that overlap with FFH areas 0074 and 0075, a joint management plan that considers both FFH and SPA concerns must be developed. The military-used parts of the Natura 2000 areas within the Holzdorf training area are not included in this contract.
