Brief
The North Rhine-Westphalia State Parliament is the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia, located in the House of the Parliament in the government district of Düsseldorf, at the easternmost point of the Hafen district. The parliament is the central legislative body in the political system of the state. In addition to passing laws, its main tasks include electing the Prime Minister and overseeing the government. The parliament building is used for various purposes; it serves as a meeting place for sessions of the parliament and its committees, commissions, and other bodies, as well as office space for representatives and their staff, the parliamentary administration, and various companies operating within the building. It also serves as a venue for receptions, conferences, exhibitions, etc., sometimes accommodating up to approximately 3,000 people in the building. The "Administration of the North Rhine-Westphalia Parliament" is the service authority of the parliament, headed by the President of the Parliament. Its task is to support the parliament by creating the necessary conditions for fulfilling parliamentary work. Currently, around 400 employees provide essential support for the representatives and fulfill the various tasks arising from parliamentary operations. The responsibilities of the Technical Building Management (TGM) include maintaining the properties of the parliament and implementing construction projects. Support from various specialist planners is needed to fulfill these tasks. This tender includes specialist planning services in the area of technical equipment, specifically electrical planning (KG 440 / KG 450 / KG 480). The current specialist planner will be leaving at the end of the year. Therefore, a new planning office is being sought starting in October to ensure the handover of all ongoing projects and to provide a fundamental introduction to the technical systems of the parliament.
