    Brief

This contract involves the construction and renovation of 101 student housing units on the Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech campus of the University of Liège (ULiège) as part of Wallonia's recovery plan, specifically under sub-program 243 aimed at creating public interest housing for students. The project will be executed in two phases to ensure continuous availability of student housing on campus: (1) the demolition of building G028 and the construction of a new building with 50 student housing units, and (2) the renovation of the existing building G029, which currently houses students, to meet current technical and comfort standards, along with improvements to the surrounding areas. The project must adhere to strict environmental and energy performance requirements, including the use of bio-based and reused materials, as well as rainwater management around the buildings, as specified in the technical specifications. The goal is to provide ULiège students with compliant and affordable housing on the Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech campus, following the pricing guidelines of the Centre for Sustainable Housing Studies (CEHD). All housing units and common areas must be designed to meet the conditions set by the recovery plan and detailed in the technical submission documents. Additionally, all rooms must be accessible or adaptable for individuals with reduced mobility.
