Additional Access Planning for Berlin Train Stations

This contract involves planning additional access points for the S-Bahn stations Berlin-Blankenburg and Lichterfelde Süd. The awarded supplier will be responsible for surveying and assessing the construction site, as well as providing planning services for the object, specialist, and structural planning phases 1 to 4 according to HOAI (German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers). There is an option to extend the contract for planning services in phases 5 to 7. For Berlin-Blankenburg station, a new pedestrian underpass must be designed, incorporating features that reflect the character of the historic reception building. The planning must take into account existing infrastructure, including tracks, switches, railway power systems, noise barriers, and signaling technology. Temporary construction bridges may be required during the project. At Lichterfelde Süd station, an existing pedestrian underpass has already been constructed under the railway facilities. The project includes opening this underpass to the east and expanding it with a covered staircase that connects to the planned public road. Existing infrastructure, including tracks, railway power systems, and signaling technology, must also be considered.
