Design and Construction of Pilot Boats for Dublin Port

Dublin Port Company (DPC) is seeking qualified suppliers to design, construct, and commission modern pilot boats for operations in Dublin Bay and the Irish Sea. The vessel(s) should be 15.5m to 17.5m in length, accommodate a crew of 2 and up to 6 pilots, and operate 24/7/365 in Ireland's busiest port. Key requirements include: compliance with Irish Passenger Boat Regulations for Class P5 vessels and relevant marine safety standards; robust design for year-round offshore conditions; emphasis on crew safety and pilot transfer procedures; modern, environmentally efficient technologies including fuel efficiency and emissions reduction; and lifecycle sustainability.
