The University of Leicester is seeking a supplier to implement a modern, cloud-managed headless content management system (CMS) to replace its existing platform. This strategic project aims to modernise the University's digital infrastructure, enhance operational efficiency, and support its digital engagement strategy across le.ac.uk and associated platforms. Key Requirements: - Secure, scalable cloud-based solution supporting modern web architecture and multi-channel content delivery - Seamless integration with existing systems and future-proofed design - Support for decentralised content creation with robust governance and quality control - Ability to streamline workflows for 200+ trained editors and reduce technical support dependency - Consolidation of digital infrastructure into a single source of truth for content and data Project Scope: The delivery will be phased, including technical discovery, procurement, system implementation, content review and migration, staff training, and decommissioning of legacy systems. Project completion is targeted for the end of the 2026/27 financial year. Supplier Requirements: Demonstrated experience delivering similar enterprise CMS projects, managing dual-running of legacy and new platforms, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders throughout transition. The successful supplier will work in partnership with the University to ensure the new CMS supports institutional goals of enhanced user experience, improved staff enablement, and maintained security and efficiency. Procurement Details: This opportunity is being conducted through a Competitive Flexible Procedure under the Procurement Act 2023, run in stages to identify suitable suppliers.
