Brief
The City of Bytom is seeking insurance services for its municipal office and its organizational units. The contract is divided into three parts: 1) Part 1 – Insurance for the City of Bytom, which includes coverage for: a) property insurance against fire and other unforeseen events, b) property insurance against theft and robbery, c) electronic equipment insurance against all risks, d) accident insurance, e) liability insurance. The contracting authority reserves the right to options as per Article 441(1) of the Public Procurement Law, with detailed descriptions provided in the draft contract provisions. 2) Part 2 – Insurance for Bytom Housing, which includes coverage for the budgetary unit of Bytom Housing, including: a) property insurance against fire and other unforeseen events, b) property insurance against theft and robbery, c) electronic equipment insurance against all risks, d) liability insurance for property managers. The contracting authority reserves the right to options as per Article 441(1) of the Public Procurement Law, with detailed descriptions provided in the draft contract provisions. 3) Part 3 – Motor Insurance, which includes insurance services for the City of Bytom regarding motor vehicle insurance. Suppliers may submit offers for all parts of the contract. The contracting authority requires that the contractor or subcontractor employs individuals under an employment contract, as defined by the Labor Code, for administrative tasks related to insurance management, such as issuing policies and other insurance documents, and amendments confirming changes in insurance. The verification of employment, the contracting authority's rights to control compliance with employment requirements, and penalties for non-compliance are described in the draft contract provisions. The contracting authority anticipates awarding contracts as per Article 214(1)(7) of the Public Procurement Law for each part of the contract, which will involve repeating the services described in the main contract, specifically insurance services up to 30% of the value of each part of the contract, under terms no less favorable than those offered by the contractor in the main contract.
