Staff Absence Insurance Services 2026-27

Mersey View Learning Trust, a multi-academy trust serving 3,000+ students and 500+ staff across six schools in Sefton, Merseyside, is seeking a Provider of absence protection and reimbursement services for a twelve-month period from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027. This is a mini-competition under the CPC Staff Absence Protection and Reimbursement Services Framework Agreement (CPC/LO/01/2025). The selected supplier will provide staff absence protection and reimbursement services in accordance with the Call-Off Conditions and the Insurance Provider's Terms of Business Agreement and Service Level Agreements. Evaluation will be based on: Pricing (40%), Policies (25%), Account Management (10%), Service Provision (20%), and Social Value (5%). The Most Advantageous Tender (MAT) will be selected based on the highest weighted score. Contract renewal may be considered subject to favourable terms and overall contract value. The Institution reserves the right to cancel the process at any point and to seek clarifications from tenderers. Pricing must align with or be better than the original framework agreement pricing structure.
