Germany – Electrical Installation Work – Expansion of the Wandlitz Primary School

The Wandlitz Primary School is located on the premises of the sports hall. The municipality of Wandlitz plans to construct a new building to expand the existing primary school due to increasing student numbers. The three-story extension will complement the existing primary school on its southwest side. The new building will include a total of 23 classrooms with ancillary rooms, an administrative area, and a cafeteria kitchen with a large dining room on the ground floor. The construction site is located on the school grounds of Wandlitz Primary School, which is owned by the municipality of Wandlitz. The school area is situated on Prenzlauer Chaussee. The extension will be built along the southeastern property boundary, parallel to the street An der Sporthalle. In addition to the primary school, the school grounds also include a sports hall, a parking lot, and various sports facilities. The construction site, including the adjacent outdoor area with access paths and parking spaces, covers approximately 5,000 square meters. The area is available for construction setup, and a construction fence will be provided. Due to the expansion of the primary school, the construction site will connect directly to the existing school building at the northwestern end. The terrain is level. For the Wandlitz Primary School expansion project, a BNB certification in silver is being pursued with the system variant for educational buildings, version 2017 (BNB_UN_2017). Additionally, the client has applied for funding as a climate-friendly non-residential building with QNG (KFN NWG-QNG), which requires compliance with the special requirements of the Quality Seal for Sustainable Buildings (QNG) (QNG-Plus requirement level). To achieve this goal, compliance with the requirements outlined in the specifications during the planning and construction execution of the project is necessary.
