This contract involves providing online access to an electronic information resource—a database that serves as a source of information for scientific research, development, and evaluation of science in Slovakia. It is also intended for the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education to assess the quality of educational and research activities. The global bibliometric citation database will be a multidisciplinary resource offering a comprehensive view of published scientific works, thus enhancing the understanding of science and research worldwide. Access to this database is essential for the Slovak scientific community and research institutions for several reasons: • Keeping scientists informed about the latest findings through published works, • Monitoring current research trends across various scientific fields, • Obtaining feedback on published results through citations, • Evaluating the quality of published works, research teams, and institutions using bibliometric indicators, • Tracking data on published works by Slovak authors for the Central Register of Publication Activity of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of the Slovak Republic, • Monitoring citation data of Slovak authors in foreign publications for accreditation purposes of universities, study programs, habilitation, inauguration, and other scientific processes, as well as project evaluations. The global bibliometric citation database must provide tools for sorting, refining, and quickly identifying results, focusing on scientific, technical, medical, social, and humanities research, as well as the arts.
